Çalık Enerji has achieved great success with its engineering, construction, supply and logistics capabilities in the projects it has undertaken in Turkmenistan since the beginning of the 2000s. In light of these achievements, Çalık Enerji successfully completed and put into service many power plant projects in Turkmenistan, including the 1.574 MW Mary-3 Combined Cycle Power Plant, the country's highest capacity power plant. Çalık Enerji has also built approximately 149 km 220 kV and 14 km 110 kV high voltage transmission lines within the scope of the “Derweze Simple Cycle Power Plant” project. Within the scope of the “Ashgabat City Energy Supply Reliability Improvement Project (AST)”, the load distribution centers, high voltage transmission lines built and put into service voltage transmission lines and switchgear centers.

Çalık Enerji continued its activities with the 478 MW Navoi Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, which was completed in 2012 in Uzbekistan. The project is also the first combined cycle power plant in the country. Its activities in Uzbekistan continue with the construction of the "450 MW Navoi-2 Power Plant" and the "900 MW Turakurgan Power Plant," with a total installed capacity of 1,350 MW.​
