The company informed that hydrocarbon deposits at Skogul, owned by PGNiG Upstream Norway, are estimated at 3.3 million boe (barrel of oil equivalent).
PGNiG has a 35-percent share in the Skogul deposit through its subsidiary, PGNiG Upstream Norway. A 65-percent share is owned by Aker BP, the Skogul deposit operator.
PGNiG, which has been conducting operations in Norway since 2007, has been currently extracting crude oil and natural gas from seven deposits in Norway. PGNiG Upstream Norway owns shares in 31 exploration licences on the Norwegian Shelf.
