HYDRO SAFE, INC. markets bio-based products to industry and anyone needing environmentally friendly products. Hydro Safe provides hydraulic oils, cleaners, lubricants, gear oils, chain and bar oils and other bio-based products. We have a proven track record for being around for 20 years and our oils have been used continuously in some equipment since 1996. See the complete list of available products at the bottom of this page. Hydro Safe products use vegetable-based oils as base fluids that are made from a renewable resource. Hydro Safe's product line was expanded to meet customer demand by adding Renewable products to our list of materials we can offer you, our valued customer. Hydro Safe ® is a vegetable-based hydraulic fluid formulated to meet the growing demand for 
biodegradable hydraulic oils. Hydro Safe ® offers excellent antiwear performance in a wide array of hydraulic applications and can be used as a superior replacement for conventional petroleum oil.

Hydro Safe exhibits excellent thermal and oxidative properties when compared to other vegetable-derived products. Additionally, Vegetable-based oils have improved performance characteristics over mineral based oils. These include low volatility, high flash points, super high viscosity indices, and excellent lubricity, in addition to biodegradability and low toxicity. Most of Hydro Safe our products are formulated from canola (rapeseed) oil, and contain biodegradable, non-toxic chemical additives, Hydro Safe ® is designed to minimize environmental impact and have low environmental persistence. Its high viscosity index (VI) allows outdoor operations in winter and summer without the need for fluid changes or equipment modifications. Certain Hydro Safe products use other vegetable oils to produce the desired product characteristics.
