Auto Clutch™ – A PTO clutch, Auto Clutch is built with heavy-duty truck components for use in serious industrial side-load applications. We designed Auto Clutch from scratch to meet the needs of our arbor-care customers, a clutch rugged enough to withstand the rigors of industrial wood-chipper applications.

PSI On-Highway Engines

Out on the asphalt day in and day out, your vehicles take a beating. The length of their life — and how much they cost you along the way — depends on the quality of the engine inside.

PSI builds efficient, fuel-flexible, high-performance engines that can handle the rigors of on-road. From garbage trucks to school buses to delivery vehicles, our engines deliver the economy you need without sacrificing on power or performance.

Our emissions solutions take the complexity out of compliance. Innovative technology eliminates the need for expensive Tier-4 after-treatments, and fuel-flexible designs provide maximum insurance against volatile fuel prices.

PSI’s lineup for on-highway currently includes our specially designed 4.8 liter, 6.0 liter, 8.8 liter, and 11.1 liter engines, which run on gasoline, propane (LP), or compressed natural gas (CNG).

Reliable, Heavy-Duty Power When You Need It Most

Power Solutions International’s expanded engine line — PSI Heavy-Duty (PSI HD) — features heavy-duty engines with outputs spanning from 63 kW to 451 kW. The PSI HD line includes 8.1 liter engines, 11.1 liter engines, 14.6 liter engines, 18.3 liter engines, and 21.9 liter engines.

Ruggedized parts grafted onto hefty blocks ensure maximum performance and reliability in even the most demanding applications. All models are available as base engines or complete power systems with controls, fuel and cooling systems, and peripherals.

Our HD engines are fuel flexible — available in natural gas, propane (LP), and dual-fuel configurations — and feature automatic fuel changeover suitable for Emergency Standby Genset applications. In addition, all models are capable of burning low-BTU fuels like digester gas and landfill gas. All PSI HD engines are available in emission certified packages.
