ProServe is a well-established stock holding company created under the law of investment authority No 83 in Egypt in 2006. ProServe is aimed to have an added value services through a wide range of innovative solutions and technologies for Oil & gas industry, Water Desalination& Treatmentsector, Power Generation plants. This is has been achieved through Proserve partnership with international firms in these fields in which we can supply high quality and unique equipment. Moreover Proserve has the know-how to maximize production, minimize costs, enhance sustainability and saves energy in power generation, water desalination and Oil & Gas projects.
Through these innovations Proserve is capable to preserve the environment by utilizing flare gas for power generation and LPG recovery which results in reducing emission, in addition through introducing new technology Proserve is able to treat waste water, produced water which reduces environmental impact. ProServe provides other services such as project management, engineering & consultation, training, maintenance & repair of rotating equipment and rental of gen sets& RO plants.
Proserve is currently involved in water desalination upgrade project in the red sea to increase the SWRO plant capacity from 500 M3/D to 1500 M3/D by utilizing 2 each PX 300 energy recovery devices. The purpose of the project is to increase plant capacity and reduce specific power consumption. The plant is currently consuming 6.2 KW/M3 and the target is to reach 2.8 KW/M3. The project is planned to be finished at end of May 2013 and will result in total power saving of 2,100,000 kWh /year.
The project might be copied to similar existing plants to maximize the benefits of power saving in the time where Egypt is currently suffering from power shortage.
In 2010 Proserve has signed a consultancy agreement with Egyptian Propylene & Polypropylene company “ EPP” to manage their Sea water and Brackish water plants which has the capacity of 10,000 M3/D each.The scope of consultancy included and not limited to the followings:

Proserve has recently carried out a power generation project with Agiba Petroleum Company in the western desert of Egypt to utilize the waste free flare gas instead of the very expensive fossil diesel fuel to power the oil production wells ‘pumps.
The project faced several technical challenges. The associated gas has a low methane number” less than 45”, which necessitated a special gas engine from Guascor Power. The fuel gas also had to be treated upstream of the gas generators using a chiller type gas treatment unit to remove condensate.
The project succeeded in reducing fuel and maintenance costs by more than 5 million USD per year, and in providing more reliable power generation with fewer emissions “less than 70 %”. Oil production was also increased, producing an overall successful project for the company.
