Power Acoustics' acoustical consulting services include environmental noise impact analysis and assessment, industrial noise control design, architectural acoustics, vibration control, and expert witness and testimony. Our typical clients are architectural and engineering firms, law firms, municipalities, local governments and various other design professionals. 

In March of 2013, we celebrated our 15th year of business in our Orlando Florida offices. Power Acoustics' acoustical and noise control consultants have provided services in the USA for several hundred projects at locations ranging from Florida to Alaska and internationally in Canada, Mexico, South America and even China. 

We prefer to work with our clients at the conceptual and project engineering design stages - where we can address potential noise issues before they become noise problems. By addressing noise control at the early project stages, we can work with engineers, architects and design professionals to assure all necessary noise abatement design features are integrated into your project. Also, at project engineering and design stages, we can often develop noise control strategies that utilize standard building materials to help control your project's final cost.

Power Acoustics' core business is related to the electric power generation industry where we have been the primary acoustical consultant for all types of power plants - including gas turbine based simple cycle, combined cycle and cogeneration power plants as well as diesel gensets, biomass and coal facilities. Our power plant noise consulting is provided globally - reaching locations well beyond our Florida offices throughout much of the world.

Our acousticians also provide acoustical consulting services within Florida and the southeast states on all types of Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Transportation applications including landfills, road traffic noise, airport and railroad noise, eminent domain issues, mechanical and ventilation noise, community noise surveys, and environmental noise impact assessments.

The Orlando, Florida based Power Acoustics, Inc. is a firm member of the National Council of Acoustical Consultants, with acoustical consultants that are Board Certified by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering, as well as full members of the Acoustical Society of America and American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
