Strata-X Energy Ltd. (TSX.V:SXE)(ASX:SXA) and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Strata-X, Inc. and Strata-X Energy Australia Pty Ltd (Collectively referred to within as Strata-X , Strata-X Energy, or the company) is an independent oil and gas exploration company listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange and also the Australian Securities Exchange. Based in Denver, Colorado, USA. Strata-X Energy has a portfolio of petroleum projects which provides diversification of high growth exploration opportunities for its shareholders.

The company’s mission is to create substantial growth for its shareholders by finding and developing high reward opportunities that have relatively low entry costs, acquiring meaningful acreage positions in those opportunities, owning a large working interest and retaining operations when it is meaningful to do so.

Strata-X Energy’s current projects in the USA are in the states of Illinois and California. It also holds a 100% equity position in a large area of the Canning Basin in Western Australia.

The company’s management has a proven track record of building substantial shareholder value from grass roots projects. The Chairman of the Company, Vancouver born and educated, Ron Prefontaine, was an executive director of two ASX listed start up companies which have recently been taken over for in excess of $3.5 billion and $550 million respectively. Tim Hoops, President of Strata-X Energy, has an extensive career of sourcing petroleum projects that have substantial upside potential and coupled with his proven management abilities in exploration and development make Tim an ideal President for a growth oriented start up like Strata-X Energy. 

Strata-X Energy has a senior management team with over 80 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry. Strata-X Energy’s Chairman and President, Ron Prefontaine and Tim Hoops respectively, have successfully grown public companies in the energy sector. The Board also consists of three Alberta based independent directors, Don Romaniuk, Greg Hancock, and Dennis Nerland. Also Colorado based Tim Bradley. Both have extensive experience in the Canadian public arena in addition to their successful private business interests. Shaun Maskerine, also based in Alberta, is the Canadian Corporate Secretary. Duncan Cornish, based in Brisbane, is the Australian Corporate Secretary.
