Bruce Stahlberg is the owner who has been in the industry since 1987 and has performed energy audits on over 10,000 buildings.  He has worked all over Minnesota with a wide range of building types and diverse customer base. 

Bruce is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) with the Association of Energy Engineers.   He is a certified in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) System Performance Testing, System Diagnostics and Balancing with the National Comfort Institute.  He also holds several certifications with the Building Performance Institute (BPI.org) including Heating, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps, Envelope Professional and Building Analyst.   He holds a Level 1 certificiation in Thermal/Infrared Thermography from The Snell Group.

He holds a B.S. degree in Energy Management from Moorhead State University and also attended a Energy and Environmental Planning course in Oslo, Norway. 

He keeps up with ongoing improvements in technology with attendance at local and national conferences and trainings.   In addition to attending conferences he has presented at regional energy conferences, teaches at a local technical college and offer seminars at community events.  He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, Minnesota Building Performance Association and the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society.

Bruce also has experience with passive solar design and utilizing the sun for heating homes, water and other thermal end uses, including internationally in Bolivia, Thailand and Guatemala. 

The Commercial or Multi-Family On-Site Energy Inspection is recommended for owners looking to:

The next step is perform a free on-site, walk-through inspection of the building(s).  This initial first visit to a site is determine if any energy opportunities exist.  This walk-thourgh proces is to focus on the easiest, most accessible energy opportunities and next step strategies for longer term, larger capital cost opportunities.
