Minnkota Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative owned by 11 member-owner distribution cooperatives. Our members serve about 128,000 customers in a 34,500 square-mile area in eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Minnkota also serves as operating agent for the Northern Municipal Power Agency (NMPA). NMPA supplies the electric needs of 12 associated municipals that serve more than 15,000 customers in the same geographic area as the Minnkota member-owners.
