John regularly attends professional classes to be current on trends and certifications, he has received over 400 hours of specialized training in solar, wind, energy auditing, and green building. In 2012 he became a NABCEP PV solar installer. This is a highly competitive certification from North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, the 'gold' standard of the industry.
