The Cooperative headquarters is centrally located in New Castle, Virginia.
CBEC serves the rural sections of seven counties. Our mountainous area contains a large portion owned by the National Forest, the Virginia Department of Forestry, and the Appalachian Trail.
Each member/owner will be provided with the benefit of safe, reliable electric service at the lowest possible cost consistent with sound management and the Cooperative principles.
