Ross Solar was founded by the Ross family in 2007 to provide solar installation and consulting services to New England homes and businesses. We carry home improvement contractors licenses in:

  • New York City, Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties in New York,
  • the state of Connecticut,
  • the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and
  • the state of New Jersey.

Since that time, we have installed over fourteen mega-watts worth of solar panels in Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts     and New York.Our lead installer and designer, Jason Ross, has direct experience installing over 2000 systems over the past eight years. Jason is one of a limited number of NABCEP-certified installers in the U.S. Jason was one of the first licensed photovoltaic installers in Connecticut.Ross Solar installs all solar projects in-house. Questions or concerns that arise at project sites are resolved immediately, which allows for the highest-level quality of solar installations. Ross Solar works with every major solar electric equipment supplier to ensure the specific needs of our clients are met on a case-by-case basis.
