Acme Propane Gas

Acme Propane Gas is one of the few locally owned and operated gas companies left in Alabama.  We provide prompt next business day delivery, but the Acme family can do more than just provide propane.  We have a licensed and experienced service department that can repair anything from your tank, appliances or air conditioning system.   By running our own propane transport, Acme is a fully self-sufficient gas company.  This gives us complete control of our inventory, allowing us to run on our own schedule when supply or hauling gets tight.  acme_staff.jpgSexton Propane Gas Co Inc., DBA Acme Propane Gas is owned by siblings Kim Sexton, Ken Sexton and Keenar Kelley.  Our parents Billy & Elizabeth Sexton formed Highland Home Propane in December 1971.  As each graduated, they joined the family business.  Kim in ’79, Ken in ’80 and Keenar in ’84.  In 1999, HHP along with other propane companies joined with Acme Propane Gas.  Our family regained ownership in July 2005 and have owned and operated the company since that time.  We have learned the propane industry from the ground up.  One of the most important lessons taught to us by our parents is the value of great customer service.  We still strive today to give the best quality and most prompt service of any company in the state.  

Being raised in a small town has helped teach us the importance of community.  You won’t reach an out of state call center when you dial our number.  Our employee family all live locally and are active members in their community.  They are a large part of what makes our company better than the rest.  We appreciate your business!  Please contact us if we can serve you.
