Alaska Rubber Group

5811 Old Seward Highway, 99518, Anchorage, Alaska, United States | Oil & Gas

Established in 1980, Alaska Rubber and Supply, Inc. in Anchorage Alaska is the largest store in the group and is the corporate headquarters. Becoming a 100% employee-owned ESOP in 2006 provided the foundation for what would become the Alaska Rubber Group. The addition in 2009 of a branch in Wasilla and the acquisition of Alaska Rubber and Rigging in Fairbanks doubled the company’s size and footprint in Alaska.  The Alaska Rubber Group saw further growth in 2013 with the acquisition of five companies in Washington. Central Hose and Fittings in Pasco, Inland Pacific Hose and Fittings in Spokane, North Sound Hose and Fittings in Everett, Pacific Rubber Inc. in Seattle and Timco Inc. in Tacoma have expanded our footprintinto the Pacific Northwest. With these acquisitions, our collective expertise and industry knowledge has been greatly expanded and the products and services we provide customers has increased. This has also added to our corporate history, now stretching back to the mid 1960’s. The Alaska Rubber Group’s loyal customers rely on us to offer the best products and service in the industry.  In July 2014, Alaska Rubber & Supply opened a Kenai, Alaska branch which has allowed us to provide greater statewide coverage, and service the thriving Kenai Peninsula Oil & Gas industry. This addition prompted the consolidation of all Alaska locations into one company, Alaska Rubber & Rigging Supply, Inc.  The Alaska Rubber Group currently employs approximately 100 people, across nine locations throughout Alaska and Washington. All nine ARG locations are retail and wholesale distributors of Industrial and hydraulic hose, fittings and related products. Some of the markets served include agricultural, marine, oil & gas, construction, mining, OEM, fishing and government agencies to name a few. Additionally, the Anchorage Fairbanks Alaska locations have fully equipped Rigging Departments, which manufacture and test custom wire rope, chain and nylon sling assemblies as well as providing supplies for all facets of rigging. Our Anchorage Rigging Department also has the distinction of having the largest rigging fabrication and testing equipment in the state of Alaska. The Wasilla Alaska branch is home to our Fluid Power Division, which offers Hydraulic component sales and repair.

The Alaska Rubber Group has made customer service the cornerstone of our business model, which has helped us grow and maintain a loyal customer base throughout the years. We’ve been fortunate to partner with manufacturing companies that operate domestically, and across the globe in a wide variety of industries. We’ve also developed a wide network of associate distributors to help extend our reach and customer service. We have a dedicated and experienced inside sales staff at all locations that can facilitate orders by phone, email, or fax. Our outside sales staff travels Alaska and the Pacific Northwest serving our customer’s needs, while providing product service, support, and training.
