Founded in 1996, Global Solar Energy, Inc (GSE) has evolved into a leading manufacturer of thin-film CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide) solar solutions, with more flexible, thin film solar modules installed than any existing company.  GSE’s lightweight and flexible solar power has been integrated into commercial, residential, off-grid and mobile applications across the globe. Among GSE’s most innovative contributions are solutions for the Building Applied Photovoltaic (BAPV) and transportation markets, where we are redefining solar power. Our industry-leading, high efficiency thin-film solar material also allows us to partner with other industry leaders to create innovative, efficient, and effective products. Together, we are redefining how we build and power the world around us, both on and off-grid.

Currently, the company operates a Tucson, Arizona facility with a thin film production capacity of 50 megawatts per year that ships products around the world. GSE has now developed and released innovative, solar submodules that provide OEMs with the ability to easily integrate lightweight, portable clean energy into a myriad of products. These advances come from a team that consists of pioneering scientific leaders in the industry, top notch R&D equipment/process and manufacturing engineers, and an experienced product development team.
