Marmen is a highly-regarded sub-contractor for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) specializing in high-precision machining, fabrication and mechanical assembly for parts of all sizes. Founded in 1972 by Mr. Fernand Pellerin, this family-owned Canadian business continues to expand its customer base.   Marmen provides its services to companies operating in diverse markets such as, wind power, hydropower, steam and gas turbines, oil and gas production, mining, aviation, nuclear energy, steel, aluminum plants and pulp and paper.   Marmen believes in the importance of renewable resources in the energy landscape. The company started its activities in this sector in 2002 with the construction of plants designed specifically for the manufacture of wind towers in Trois-Rivières. In 2005, it increased its tower production capacity with the opening of Marmen Énergie in Matane.   In 2013, Marmen continued its expansion with the opening of Marmen Energy, a plant dedicated to the fabrication of wind towers, located in the city of Brandon, a suburb of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in the United States.   Marmen is recognized as one of North America’s largest manufacturers of wind towers and is proud to have contributed to the growth and development of the wind industry.   Marmen’s originality and strength lie in the fact that it offers personalized services, the promise of a family-run firm, and that it is equipped with the latest technology and exceptionally large facilities, most often a characteristic of larger companies.
