Tradewinds Oil and Gas, Inc. exists to identify, evaluate, acquire and manage low risk international oil and gas producing or productions related properties and undeveloped, non-producing properties.

Tradewinds initiates and enhances production by applying state of the art technical methods and an independent management style.

Tradewinds' focus is on international oil and gas producing and non-producing properties including involvement in low risk development, rehabilitation and enhancement projects. The presence of exploratory or other upside potential within a production area is also a desired element in the evaluation and selection process. Operated properties are preferred, however, non-operated interests are considered if the operator has similar objectives and approach to operations.

Projects are evaluated and selected based on technical merits, business terms, cash flow timing, and overall project economics, as well as the political stability of the host country. Producing properties with significant remaining cost recovery accounts are ideal candidates for acquisition from companies rationalizing their assets. Direct acquisition from host governments is also a source of properties.

The areas of geographic interest are those where Tradewinds has experience and technical expertise, or where alliances can be formed with others who have those capabilities. Tradewinds' current concentration is in Southeast Asia, North Africa, West Africa and China. With the corporate office in Houston, and operating office in Jakarta, and technical representation in Cairo, the company is in a unique position to source and evaluate projects in a timely and efficient manner.
