DeSousa Oil & Service Corp

DeSousa Oil and Service Corp. is a family-owned full service heating oil business. We deliver quality heating oil and kerosene at reasonable prices along with reliable service. The current owners are all family, Timothy J. DeSousa, Martin D. DeSousa and Timothy M. DeSousa (Tims oldest son). All three are involved in all aspects of the business. The business was started in 1956 by Tim and Martys parents, Martin J. and Tessie DeSousa with one service van and one oil truck. It has grown into a fleet of four oil delivery trucks, three service vans and one tractor trailer. All three wives of the owners, Linda (Tims wife), Carol (Martys wife), and Patty (Timmys wife) run the office for their husbands at 502 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton. This truly is a family business!

Our service area is within a 15 mile radius of Palmerton. The areas we cover are: Aquashicola, Bowmanstown, East Penn Township, Franklin Township, Kunkletown, Kresgeville, Lehigh Township, Lehighton, Lower Towamensing Township, Palmerton, Parryville, Slatington, Towamensing Township, Walnutport and Weissport.

Marty, Tim and Timmy are certified by the Petroleum Marketers Association of America as Advanced Oil Heat Technicians, holding the PMAA Gold Certification. They are also certified Type 1 and Type II refrigerant technicians. Tim and Timmy have both undergone fuel oil storage tank installation and maintenance training by the National Oil Heat Research Alliance (NORA). Marty is a certified installer for Gastite and Uponor piping systems. All full-time members of the staff are Roth Fuel Oil Tank Certified installers and hold Hazmat/First Responder Operations level certification.
