Burke Petroleum, Inc. was founded in 1974 by David J. Burke as a Sohio Bulk Distributor of Fuel and Lubricants in Minster, Ohio. We have been serving the area ever since with the best products and services in the business to meet our customers ever changing needs.We currently operate a state-of-the-art bulk fuel facility in Minster, Ohio, marketing BP North American products. These products include gasoline, #2 heat, ON and OFF Road Diesel Supreme, Kerosene and the following alternative fuels: Biodiesel, Bioheat & Gasohol.We also operate a 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse with 1,000 sq. ft. of office space (the base of our operations) marketing BP/Castrol, Mystik, Clarion, Citgo, Coolant Control, and Process Fluid products to meet all our customer’s residential, commercial, and industrial needs.

Our Fuel Service Area 

 Our fuel service area covers (approx.) a 60 mile radius from our facility in Minster, Ohio, from Dayton to the south, to Lima in the north, west to the Indiana border, and half way to Columbus to the east.  We also provide service to companies in Indiana, Kentucky, and Alabama.Cetane is a colorless hydrocarbon that ignites easily under compression. The cetane number reflects the ignition time delay of the diesel fuel. The higher the cetane number, the shorter the ignition delay time, which provides a more complete combustion of the fuel charge in the combustion chamber.
