History

Corrigan Oil has been family owned and operated since 1958, when Bernie Corrigan started the business with a single service station and one tow truck.  Now under the ownership of Mike and Tim Corrigan, Corrigan Oil has expanded into a family of companies including:

Diesel Exhaust Fluid

Corrigan Oil is the premier Blue Cap (DEF) diesel exhaust fluid distributor in Michigan, Ontario, Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana. We combine great supply, high quality product that is enhanced by our highly specialized delivery equipment and staff.  Blue Cap LLC has received certification of its Blue Cap Diesel Exhaust Fluid from the American Petroleum Institute (API). The certification recognizes that Blue Cap DEF meets the stringent quality standards that engine manufacturer service warranties require.  DEF is an aqueous urea solution used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) that reduces diesel exhaust emissions into nitrogen, water and carbon dioxide (CO2). Our Whitmore Lake, Michigan facility provides Blue Cap DEF in bulk, as well as, packages ranging from 2.5 gallon bottles to 330 gallon totes.

Temporary Fuel Storage

Tanks All of our tanks are Michigan DEQ approved.  We offer tanks with secondary containment and either twelve volt or 115 volt operated pumps for off-road diesel, on-road diesel and gasoline.  We also provide services for fuel and lubricant pumps, as well as tanks. 

Lubricants

Corrigan Oil Company can meet all of your company’s lubricant needs. Whether its Castrol branded lubricants or Corrigan’s own house blends; our experienced sales team prides itself in finding the most appropriate and cost effective solutions to meet your company’s specific applications. We offer fast delivery across the state of Michigan, Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana.

Product Distribution

Corrigan Oil has the expertise to move petroleum products from our trucks to the end user.  We install tanks, plumbing and metering devices needed to deliver your petroleum product to the customer.  We offer a variety of tank sizes to meet your needs in the distribution of fuels and oil products.  We also offer a variety of pumps, reels and metering nozzles.  We offer products manufactured by Aro, Fillrite, GPI, Graco, and Ingersoll Rand.  We also have the flexibility to order parts from other manufacturers.

We offer fleet fueling to your trucks, heavy equipment, and storage units. Fleet fueling throughout the State of Michigan is a Corrigan forte, uniquely filling your unique needs.  Each of our tank wagon trucks is equipped with Smart Logix delivery system, an industry leading logistics software package. Smart Logix drives productivity, enables us to predict, react, and make the educated decisions for your fueling needs.
