History

Founded in 1992, EVCO Petroleum Products, Inc. is a family owned company that was purchased by Gerald N. Evenson of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.  We are a service oriented lubricants distributor, servicing customers within a 200 mile radius of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. We currently market Shell and Cenex branded products in Northern/Central Minnesota and North Dakota.

OUR MISSION

EVCO Petroleum is an aggressive lubricants distributor in Northwest Minnesota. We will provide world class products with first class service to all of our customers. We will always remember that the customer is the reason we are in business.

• 1992 - Leased an office and warehouse in Detroit Lakes, MN.
• 1998 -Broke ground on a new 14,500 square foot warehouse in the Detroit Lakes Industrial Park.
• 2004 - Added on to our warehouse an additional 9,100 square feet.
• 2006 - Became a CLT (Cenex Lube Terminal), supplying Cenex Lubricants to Cooperatives and their customers.
• 2009 - One of the first companies in the United States to sign an Alliance Contract with the Shell Oil Company.
• 2016 - Added on to our warehouse an additional 14,400 square feet giving us over 38,000 square feet of warehouse and office space.

Services

Our goal at EVCO Petroleum is to provide first class services to each one of our customers. Whether we’re distributing a large or small amount of lubricant products to your business, you can be sure that we’ll deliver exactly what you ordered in a timely manner.  Once minimums are met, we provide free weekly delivery on our scheduled routes. All orders must be placed by noon the day prior to delivery.
