PETCO Petroleum Corporation

Petco Petroleum Corporation is an independent oil and natural gas producer headquartered in Hinsdale, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.  Petco specializes in operating mature oil and gas fields that still have significant reserves.  Production is optimized and operating expenses are controlled to create high yield, long term energy investments.  Petco has over 200 employees and operates wells and facilities in Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma and Texas.  Producing wells total more than 1200 along with about 500 water injection wells for secondary recovery operations.  Petco also operates proprietary pipelines, compressor stations, electric generating plants and other energy facilities.

Petco Operations

Petco Petroleum has a corporate headquarters, a production and planning office and four regional offices.  Corporate headquarters is located in Hinsdale, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago.  The Production and Planning Office, home to most of our engineering and geological staff, is located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.  The four regional operations offices manage production activities in their respective areas.  The Pachuta Creek office oversees operations in Southeast Mississippi.  The Loudon office near St. Elmo, Illinois, handles operations in Southern Illinois and Southwest Indiana.  The Drumright facility manages operations in Northeastern Oklahoma.  The Panhandle office near Pampa, Texas oversees operations throughout the Texas panhandle.
