Some of our competitors have recently cited fuel quality as an advantage, just to inform everyone #2 fuel oil is #2 fuel oil!!  As of July 1 2012 New York state has mandated that all heating oil sold in NY must be Ultra low sulfur (15ppm) and they all must meet or exceed the government ANSI specifications. There are only a handful of suppliers in the port of Albany and Rensselaer and all companies load there from the same tanks. If any companies  tell you any different it will show their incompetence and willingness to be dishonest in their business. We travel to the port on a daily basis and the fuel is fresh from there and not sitting in someones aging tanks in their yards for weeks or months.
