Headquartered in Midland, Texas, Republic is managed by a multi-discipline team with a core competency in exploration, land, production/reservoir engineering and financial analysis. Our current core area of acquisition and development expertise is the Permian Basin of West Texas.     Since our inception, Republic Oil & Gas Company has been a leader in utilizing advanced technologies to explore and produce oil and natural gas. We have been a permanent fixture in the Permain Basin producing economic results while minimizing risk.  Over the years, Republic Oil & Gas Company has earned a reputation for excellence in the field of consulting, operations and asset development. We focus our exploration activities in large new or developing plays that provide us the opportunity to acquire undeveloped acreage positions for future drilling operations. 

Republic’s growth strategy is focused on working with its partners in the acquisition, development, exploration and exploitation of conventional and unconventional, long-life, onshore oil and natural gas reserves in the major oil producing Permian Basin in West Texas.  The Company’s objectives are focused primarily at the large acreage areas of the San Andres, Clearfork, Spraberry, Wolfcamp, Strawn, Atoka, Mississippian, Devonian and Fusselman formations in the Permian Basin.
