Myriad Oil & Gas, Inc. was founded by Steve Simmons in 1980. Since then, we have been contracted by numerous companies, ranging from small independent operators to some of the largest companies in the world. Myriad is a small broker, generally assigning one landman to a project unless otherwise requested by the client. We have worked and continue to work the Bear Grass Area in Freestone and Leon Counties since 1988. We have also handled projects in Rusk, Henderson, Nacogdoches, Robertson, Limestone, San Augustine, Shelby, Panola, Harrison, Upsher, Wood, Smith, Cass and Anderson Counties, along with due diligence projects in Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.  With an extensive knowledge of the Energy Land Services industry, Steve has run contracted crews that range from 1-15+ landmen. In the past 10 years, Steve has brought in his niece, Casey Oland, RPL & his stepson, Patrick Cooper, RPL to assist him in maintaining and growing his operations.
