Trey Resources, Inc., founded in 1983, is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Midland, Texas with offices in Oklahoma City, Dallas, and New York City.  Our business is focused into three segments:

• Asset acquisition, development, and divestiture
• Contract operations
• Consulting

We have worked with a variety of clients and partners ranging from individual owners to multi-billion dollar investment funds. Through our flexible staffing model, we are able to take on projects ranging from a single well to over a thousand.  Our entire team, both in the field and in the office – from Operations to Geoscience to Engineering to Accounting to Land – strives to conduct business based on the principles of honesty, integrity and value. Management

Trey has a strong track record of working with both strategic operators and financial investors in creating value. Trey management has excelled in start-up ventures, developing value in existing properties and turning around underperforming assets. Trey’s senior management has a diverse and complementary skillset that spans over 150 years of combined oil and gas experience. Management has held senior roles at large operators including Concho Resources, Occidental Petroleum, Tom Brown, ExxonMobil, RKI Exploration, Conoco, WPX Energy, and ARCO.

Area of Operations

Trey has researched, identified, developed and divested several oil and gas properties during its history. We are licensed and bonded to operate in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, and have completed a number of assignments in New Mexico. Our operations are currently focused from the Mid-Continent to the Permian Basin, but throughout our history we have worked across North America in various fields and formations.
