JC Propanes past owner, Jerry Cobb, was a long time resident and rancher of the Olathe area. Through living and working in our area, he had an understanding perspective of the changes and needs of this valley. It is this understanding that led him to go into the propane business. Tired of dealing with a large corporate propane company that thought of him as just another number, he decided to start his own company, knowing that he was not the only one who felt this way. In 1998, he started with one truck and worked day and night, all by himself, 'peddling gas' as he called it. Over the years, he had worked in all aspects of the propane business. His vast knowledge of the business combined with his work ethic had been the business biggest asset.  Since Jerrys passing April 11, 2016 the business was passed to his daughters Sherry and Sharon that fully intend to move forward in the same direction.  JC Propane prides themselves on being locally owned and operated, maintaining their competitive pricing and friendly customer service. All propane is created equal, but not all propane companies are. JC Propane looks forward to many more years of serving and supporting this community.
