Propane Business: A Family Tradition

Our family tradition is the propane business, and it has spanned over 60 years with 4 generations and more than 20 family members having participated in day to day operations.     From youngsters painting trucks and filling cylinders to teens assisting on tanksets and swamping the del hose on bobtails, propane was the base. With office work and accounting needs neverending, all have shared in the labor. Bobtail trucks being the workhorse of the business, they were the focal point of many family photos as evidence of their importance.     A long line of family members have served the business with pride and dedication, some of whom are now gone but not forgotten, including founders M.H. and Sena Mae Robbins, Otis and Fran Robbins, Carl and Jean Robbins, Bo Robbins and Ryan Otis Robbins. We operate today with 4 members of the 3rd generation and 4 members of the 4th generation.     Being a family business, we value passing down the traditions of honesty, hard work and an appreciation of our customers: our family tradition.

Keeping It Simple

Thats right, we make ordering propane real easy for our customers. Once youre established as our customer, you do not have to try to remember what day the propane company delivers to your area, nor will you ever have to repeat your delivery directions to us again. You simply call for a propane delivery and we will know where you are and you will receive your delivery the next work day, or, if you have accidentally run completely out of propane and need a same day delivery, we can help with that too!

Making it Automatic

Thats right, we also offer, at no extra charge, our Automatic Route Service. Simply call our office and get set up on Auto Fill and our guys will take all the work, worry, and stress off of you. Never again will you need to check your tank, phone in the order, or worry about running out of gas. It may be hard to believe, but we have customers on file that have never had to call our family to re-order and have never run out of gas for 10-20-30 even 40 years!

If you have ever been asked this question, you are probably being charged a higher price than customers who own their tanks. Call Steves Propane, and youll start saving money with your first order.     You are encouraged to own your own new, rebuilt, or refurbished tank for residential or commercial use. You wont get penalized for leasing or owning your own tank with us. Own or lease, youll pay the same price for your gas either way. Delivery is included and emergency service is available.     Ask other propane companies about their policy on this. We will be standing by to take your order when you hear their answer. After all, you can choose your propane supplier, and our team fully guarantees our sold products and installations. The choice is yours. We are happy to service you either way.
