SolHarvest Energy is a development and consultancy company specializing in delivering shovel ready sites for distributed generation and utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Our mission is to maximize and preserve development capital through ideal site selection and effective management of due diligence and design activities. Additionally, we strive to ensure that the financial assumptions needed to achieve anticipated returns remain stable throughout the preconstruction period. 

EARLY STAGE SITE IDENTIFICATION AND DEVELOPMENT

  SolHarvest Energy has identified, secured and developed for its clients, over 650MW of marketable utility-scale and distributed generation renewable energy projects within various RTOs/ISOs and utilities throughout the United States. The Company is actively seeking additional opportunities for its clients and investors in targeted markets. The Company utilizes a detailed understanding of state level policies, interconnection tariffs, net metering regulations, economic incentives and local permitting requirements. This ensures that long-term business strategies will be achieved and offer the highest return on investment for each project. SolHarvest Energy is committed to working with the local community and stakeholders throughout the development process to deliver ideally sited and designed renewable energy facilities.

John Forgash Owner & Founder

John Forgash is the founder of SolHarvest Energy and has been developing renewable energy projects in various markets throughout the Country since 2008. He specializes in early stage site identification and development and mid to late stage asset acquisitions. Prior to forming SolHarvest Energy, Mr. Forgash spent over six years with EDF Renewable Energy, a leading U.S. independent power producer with over three gigawatts of installed capacity. While at EDF RE, he led development and acquisition activities for grid-tied wind and solar projects in ERCOT, SPP, Massachusetts, and Colorado. Mr. Forgash also has experience developing commercial real estate projects in Colorado, Arizona, and California. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
