Originally located at the corner of Silver Lake and Crescent streets in Athol, MA, Rons Fuel, Inc. was started by Ronald and Shirley Kingsbury in 1986. Shortly after opening their doors, Ronald and Shirley were joined by their daughter Pamela. With Ronalds entrepreneurship and deep roots in the community, Rons Fuel took off quickly, sparking us to move to our present location in 1997 at 575 South Street. Our family owned tradition continues to date with Pam managing the business.     As a locally owned business, we have over 30 years of providing exceptional customer service under our belt. We pride ourselves on giving back to the community we live and work in.

Home heating oil, kerosene, on-road diesel, and off-road dyed diesel delivery

We currently deliver home heating oil to the towns of Athol, Erving, New Salem, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Royalston, Warwick and Wendell.  We currently deliver kerosene and diesels to the towns of Athol and Orange.

Automatic deliveries

Upon your request, you can opt to be put on automatic deliveries. This is a great option for those who dont want to worry about checking their oil tank. In a busy world, its one less thing for you to worry about. 

TANK-GUARD Tank Protection

We offer the TANK-GUARD tank protection program. In the event of a leaky tank, this annual program provides a warranty credit toward the replacement cost. 

PRODUCTS

• Rons Fuel, Inc. sells premium #2 home heating oil that is formulated with a carefully balanced group of active ingredients that help avoid filter issues and strainer plugging. This home heating oil burns more efficiently than the standard home heating oil.  
• This grade of diesel has been formulated to address compatibility concerns with todays ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel and advanced engine technology. DieselOne® performance benefits include: advanced detergent, corrosion inhibitor, water management/dispersant, and lubricity improver.
• Kerosene is the most refined product that we offer. Because of its refining process, it has an approximate freezing point of -40 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a great option for customers with outside tanks. 
• Off road-dyed diesel is reserved for vehicles and equipment that do not drive on public roadways. Since this fuel is used off-road, no road taxes are applied to the purchase of this diesel.

 We are pleased to offer a new product that allows you to check your oil tank level on your smartphone at anytime. Introducing the Smart Oil Gauge™! This oil gauge uses an electronic sensor to measure the amount of oil you have in your tank and transmits this information over your homes Wi-Fi network.
