Best Oil was established in the winter of 1985, when I moved to Scappoose to get away from the city life. My house had oil heat and the only place to get oil was out of St. Helens. The oil prices were a lot more expensive than what I was paying in Portland. So after some research, I bought a small oil truck and Best Oil was in business as Scappoose’s only heating oil dealer.  Being right on Hwy 30, a major road to the coast from Portland, I put sign out in front posting my oil prices which were 10 to 15 cents a gallon below anything around.  After about 3 years I started receiving more calls from Portland than Scappoose. To meet the needs of homeowners, I moved back to Portland, took out a loan and bought a new, larger oil truck and the rest is history.  oil-delivery-truckTo save you money I operate this company myself, it has always been and always will be owner operated keeping the overhead low and passing the savings on to you.

  Best Oil also delivers 2 grades of top-quality Bio Diesel.  B2, B5. The higher the number the more percentage of bio products added. Bio Diesel is a relatively new product being produced in the United States that can be used just like traditional heating oil. Bio Diesel heating oil is made from canola, soy, or vegetable oil and combined with standard heating oil to create a fuel that offers many advantages:
