Headquartered in Central Iowa, we service a variety of industries through our two companies: Barker Lemar Engineering Consultants and Barker Lemar Petroleum Services.   Founded in 1995, Barker Lemar Engineering Consultants partners with solid waste, industrial, and environmental clients to develop innovative compliance, design, and technological solutions. We focus on areas including solid waste engineering and compliance, petroleum release assessment and remediation, compliance tracking and training, as well as air, land, and water regulatory services.   Celebrating 10 years of business in 2017, Barker Lemar Petroleum Services focuses on service, construction, and compliance. Providing prompt, professional, and effective solutions for fuel dispensing operations in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Illinois.  Our commitment to innovation and discovery of solutions to challenges, both old and new, has served to elevate our reputation in the industries we serve. Barker Lemar was incorporated in 1995 with a belief from our founders, Mike Barker and Tracy Lemar, that clients were best served in a partnership, where you work closely to gain a deeper understanding of operations and goals. We maintain that belief today and it is a celebrated vision in all that we do.  Barker Lemar Companies consists of two businesses - Barker Lemar Engineering Consultants and Barker Lemar Petroleum Services. Although these companies operate separately - staff, resources and individual expertise come together to bring full service offerings to a variety of industries.  Headquartered in Central Iowa, with additional offices in Kansas City and Omaha, Barker Lemar has 50+ employees serving clients across the Midwest.  

GRANDER VISION

Barker Lemar kicked off our Grander Vision campaign in 2016, committing ourselves to servicing the needs of our community outside the parameters of our business service offerings. This included a variety of new programs and corporate goals that demonstrate our commitment to leaving a legacy larger than our environmental impacts; providing volunteer days, sponsored events, and charitable giving opportunities, among them. Food Insecurity was chosen collectively by our staff as our focus for 2019. Through volunteering at organizations such as The Food Bank of Iowa, Feeding America and The DMARC, we are proud to lend a helping hand to an organization that is strengthening our community. ​

Barker Lemar Petroleum Services is your partner in service, construction, and compliance. Providing prompt, professional and effective solutions for fuel dispensing operations throughout the Midwest.  From under the ground to your forecourt and onto the retail counter, were proud to have veteran technicians and construction installers with years of experience - fully licensed and insured.  Our team services customers in Iowa, Nebraska, and Illinois with all equipment brands including Wayne, Gilbarco, Verifone, and Bennet.
