Majestic Oil Company

Majestic Oil has always been about family and excellent service.  We are a three-generation company that believes that a personal touch is so important.  Gene Raymond III started Majestic Oil in 1971, following his many years in the oil business working for Atlantic Richfield Co (ARCO).  Gene Sr. passed away in 2014, but for years told us stories of those early days selling heating oil out of his home in Pennsauken.  He would go door to door and offer his most competitive price.  After customers would order the fuel, he would tell them that the driver would be there soon.  Then he would run home, change his clothes and make the oil delivery himself. This one-man operation grew over the years.  We have expanded beyond heating oil to diesel fuel and gasoline, and now bio-fuels.

Gene’s wife, Virginia, and their three children have all worked for Majestic over the years. The company continued to grow over four decades and for the last thirty years, their son, Gene Jr., and daughter, Ginnie, have been running the company. We have a fleet of tractor trailers and straight trucks to cater to our customers’ varied fuel needs. We have stayed committed to offering the lowest price that we can to our residential heating oil customers, mostly in the Camden and Burlington County areas.  Majestic’s business has expanded over the years to service the fuel needs of many commercial customers with our competitive prices and excellent service.  Furthermore, we deliver fuel under County and State contracts to many municipalities and NJ State entities as far north as Mercer County, as far east as Ocean and Atlantic Counties, extending as far south as Salem County, and west into Philadelphia, as well.   

 The third generation has joined Majestic Oil Company and is leading the company into the future – Gene’s daughter, Lisa Raymond Tilory, joined Majestic in 2009. She spent years learning the business from her father, and now runs the day to day operations as Vice President.  Lisa has a strong vision for the future of the company and the business acumen to lead this company forward.  The important role of Operations Manager and Dispatcher is handled expertly by John McDonald, who got his start with Majestic in 2009 as one of our drivers.  The office personnel is completed with Patricia (also a family member that has worked for Majestic for over 35 years) in Accounts Receivables/Payables and Susan, our part timer that feels like family and handles all of our invoicing, as well as a couple of other support staff.  The Majestic team wouldn’t be complete without mentioning our fantastic drivers – many of whom have worked for us for almost 5 years, a couple for almost 10 years, and one who has over thirty years working for Majestic.  We consider our drivers as family, and we would like to think that all of them have stayed so long because they genuinely know they are valued and treated like family.  Rest assured, when you call Majestic, a live person will answer the phone (usually John or Lisa) and we take great pride in delivering your fuel with timeliness, courtesy and excellent service throughout your whole experience with Majestic.  We’d like to thank you for choosing Majestic Oil to meet all your fuel needs.
