Gas Production Company, Inc. is a full-service propane (LP gas) company that serves Montcalm, Gratiot, Isabella, Mecosta counties, and parts of Clare, Kent, Midland, Newaygo, and Ionia counties. We also provide heating, cooling and refrigeration service. We are an authorized Mr. Heater repair facility and we service all makes and models of propane heaters.  We are committed to serving our customers with respect and attention to detail. We are a local family owned and operated business. We have served the Mid-Michigan community since 1969. The business is operated by the third generation of the family.  We take pride in the fact that we provide a service that goes well beyond just delivering propane. All of our service personnel are trained the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) Certified Employee Training Program (CETP). We are committed to safety and participate with the GasCheck program to ensure your gas system is safe.

Our service goes beyond filling your propane tank. We are a licensed and insured heating, cooling and refrigeration contractor. If you have any problems with your heat, we can take care of it. There is no need to hire a separate company to make sure your system is running properly. We service natural gas systems as well.  We operate a showroom with a variety of furnaces, space heaters, and water heaters, so you can see what you are buying. We are an authorized repair facility for the Mr. Heater brand of portable heaters. We also service all makes and models of portable heaters. We carry a variety of parts for grills, portable heaters and gas lights. We carry a large inventory of fittings and make custom hoses for many applications.  We also specialize in conversion of small engines from gasoline to propane or dual-fuel use. Some of the applications are generators and commercial mowing equipment.
