Wheat Energy Services, Inc. has been providing fuel and fueling services to the great people of West Central Texas for many years. Our area of service includes Runnels and Taylor counties in the Texas Midwest area and all surrounding counties.  Our companys roots date back to the 1940s as a service station and bulk distributor of gasoline and kerosene. Propane delivery operations were added in the 1950s, and our company became incorporated as Bob Loyd L.P. Gas Company in 1961. Fuel and propane delivery, fueling stations, and packaged lubricants have been and continue to be the mainstay of our company.

Our company has been owned and managed by the Wheat Family for many years, and in 2005, we changed our corporate name to Wheat Energy Services, Inc. to better reflect our identity and what we do.  We continue to serve a wide variety of customers and industries including: individual consumers, farmers & ranchers, oilfield companies, industrial plants, dirt contractors, construction companies, & other retail businesses.  In an industry that seems to be moving away from the “service with a smile” philosophy, we at Wheat Energy continue to strive to provide our customers with quality products and prompt, efficient service, and to do so in a courteous, appreciative manner.

PROPANE

Wheat Energy Services, Inc. has been providing propane and propane-related services to customers in West Central Texas since the 1950s. We offer residential, commercial, agricultural, oilfield, and industrial delivery as well as cylinder and vehicle refueling. 

The following is a list of propane services offered:

• Propane delivery to will call and keep-full route customers
• Tanks available for lease or purchase
• New installation of propane tanks
• System leak checks / Tank & Regulator Maintenance
• Cylinder refilling, inspection, and requalification
• Sales of new propane cylinders (20# - 100# & forklift cylinders)
• Motor Fuel and RV refueling
• Propane-related equipment, supplies, and parts
