What We Do

Cielo is one of America’s most experienced wind farm developers with services that span the spectrum of the wind industry.  With expertise in development, engineering and construction, operations and maintenance, land procurement and landowner relations,  meteorology and field services, and the retail power market  Cielo continues to leverage its advanced capabilities in the pursuit of  reliable and renewable energy supplies.

Meteorological Field Services

Cielo’s Meteorological Field Services Group is headquartered in Pampa, Texas and offers a full suite of meteorological (“met”) tower services, including turnkey construction with project management and a QA/QC program. We have managed, constructed, maintained, and operated 124 Met Towers in-house and have significant experience with all aspects of tower construction and technical integration.Our Meteorological Field Services Group is ComTrain certified, LOTO certified, First Aid/AED/CPR certified, OSHA 20 safety certified, rigging certified, and compliant in ANSI/TIA-222-G and OSHA regulations.  We have built and commissioned 25 Met Towers in the last two years, including the implementation of site calibration and Power Performance Testing (“PPT”) programs on three of Cielo’s late stage wind projects and we hold strong relationships with numerous suppliers, vendors, and sub-contractors, which provide ample support to tower projects.

Engineering and Construction

Cielo’s Engineering and Construction Management arm believes in building projects it would be proud to own.  Often working under strict deadlines set by US federal energy policy, the team has consistently found creative solutions for staying on time and under budget.  Our strong subcontractor and supplier relationships ensure that the right people and the right materials are on site when they are needed.  Capabilities cover all aspects of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)
