HighPoint Resources was formed in 2018 as a combination of Bill Barrett Corporation and Fifth Creek Energy. The Company trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker HPR.  Our experienced operational team has built our asset portfolio through a combination of acquisitions and development activity focusing on oily and rural areas where we have extensive operational experience and expertise. The Company’s assets and development activities consist of contiguous acreage positions located primarily in the DJ Basin of Colorado where the Company has a focused portfolio consisting of key assets in the Northeast Wattenberg and Hereford Fields.  We take great pride in the strong relationships we have cultivated with our land and mineral owners to ensure responsible energy development. Exclusively Rural and Oily Acreage Position in the DJ Basin 

HighPoint Resources’ portfolio of properties is focused on the DJ Basin which supports long-term, lower-risk oil development. This program offers a large drilling inventory with substantial growth potential. We operate this asset with high working interests to maintain operational control and execute with a focus on increasing operating efficiencies to reduce costs and employing our technical expertise to improve results.

DJ Basin

  Our large, continuous acreage position in the Northeast Wattenberg and Hereford Fields of the DJ Basin are located predominantly in rural areas of the eastern plains of Colorado and parts of southeastern Wyoming with an associated favorable regulatory environment. We expanded our core acreage position in December 2017 with the addition of the Hereford Field.

Company contributions are considered individually with an emphasis on organizations that have a broad impact on the community. HighPoint sponsors many corporate charitable giving programs and matches employee contributions to maximize our charitable impact. HighPoint’s Matching Gifts program matches up to $500 per employee per year for donations to a charity that is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We also support and encourage employees to take time off for volunteer causes and provide employees with paid time off for volunteer activities.
