We have our own fabrication facility, therefore controlling the quality of our equipment from the start. If there is a field problem or an upgrade is required, OTA employees are onsite to provide solutions and improvements. We have mechanics present in the field throughout the oil patch. It is not necessary to send mechanics from a distant facility – saving time and unwarranted expense.

LEAK DETECTION AND REPAIR SERVICES (LDAR)

40 CFR Part 60 Subpart OOOOa of the New Source Performance Standards establishes emissions standards and compliance schedules for the limitation of emissions from methane, a pollutant greenhouse gas (GHG). It also establishes emissions standards and compliance schedules for the control of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions from affected facilities in the crude oil and natural gas source category.You are subject to QUAD Oa if you are the owner or operator of one or more onshore affected facilities which commenced construction, modification, or reconstruction after September 18, 2015. Of the affected facilities, well sites and compressor stations are required to survey all of their fugitive emission components, per §60.5397a of Subpart OOOOa. The surveys are required in order to identify leaking components, document the leaks, and repair the emission leaks from fugitive components. The goal is for each affected facility to reduce methane emissions and VOC emissions by monitoring their fugitive emissions components.

EMISSIONS TESTING

OTA utilizes the most accurate and accepted method to determine emission rates from storage vessels, separators, and other storage and process equipment. We offer Direct Measuring, Gas-To-Oil Ratio (GOR), Gas-To-Water Ratio (GWR), and Simulation testing methods for determining flow rate and [gas or liquid] stream composition. Results are used for properly sizing emission control equipment and for determining applicability to Federal and State regulations.

GAS ANALYSIS – MOBILE

Our technicians are equipped with mobile gas chromatographs to allow for gas samples to be taken from the source, analyzed for accuracy and the results immediately inputted into the end device. This eliminates the delay on getting results and money it costs to make multiple trips to pull a gas sample and return to input data after the results are returned. This can also save time and money if a sample were to become contaminated versus pulling the needed sample from the source.   

UNIT PERFORMANCE REPORTING (UPR)

Compliance standards can be strenuous and at times, seem unfair. Keeping up with all the required documentation of every piece of permitted or certified equipment is a daunting task. And let’s face it, nobody wants to do that job. That’s why OTA’s and Kimark’s compliance devices come standard with data logging. And whether it is our equipment or a 3rd party’s, the raw data that is recorded is a headache to digest, which is why we made it simple with our “UNIT PERFORMANCE REPORTS.”  Our reporting system summarizes the recorded data into a user-friendly format that is utilized by operators, field technicians, and environmental specialists for a variety of uses.
