In addition to the installation of custom solar electric PV systems on RVs, RV Solar Connection, llc also installs DC to AC 120 inverters, new 12 volt DC deep cycle battery banks, replacement deep cycle batteries, transfer switches, fuses, cabling and anything else required to turn your RV into a self sufficient power plant. We can also move an existing solar system from your old RV to your new RV, or expand your current solar panel system.

RV Solar Connection, LLC designs, sells and installs new Photovoltaic Solar Battery Charging Systems, Charge controllers, Batteries, and Inverters to fellow recreational vehicle owners in the Denver metro area. We can also move a system from your old RV to your new RV, or we can expand your existing current system. We also offer solar kits for the do-it-yourselfer.

Heres how our installation process works

First well meet with our prospective clients to determine their 12 volt and/or 120 volt electrical needs. Then we will design your custom solar battery charging system which will meet or just exceed your needs. Within 24 to 48 hours well provide you with a detailed written estimate on the cost of the system including installation. The written estimate will be valid for 30 days. If the estimate is accepted we require a 50% cash or check deposit to hold your installation date if we are booking in advance. Should you decide to cancel we will refund 100% of your money as long as we have not custom built or ordered parts for your installation. Once we have received non-stock parts and/or built the components necessary for your installation we will schedule a day for your installation. Once installation is complete and you are 100% satisfied with our work we will collect the balance due for the installation. Once the installation is complete we will instruct you on how your solar system, charge controller, battery bank, and inverter all work together and how to operate the individual components until you are comfortable with your new system. Then you are off to enjoy your new found solar self sufficiency and remain 'Generator free Forever'.

RV Photovoltaic Solar Panels - Denver

RV Solar Connection, LLC features solar panels (photovoltaic modules) from Kyocera Solar. Kyocera modules are a reliable multi-crystal polycrystalline panel that is virtually a maintenance free power supply designed to convert sunlight into electricity. With a 16% conversion efficiency rating Kyocera solar modules are ideal for charging deep-cycle storage batteries in recreational vehicles and boats.  To protect the solar cells from the most severe environmental conditions, they are encapsulated between a tempered glass cover and an EVA pottant with a PVF back sheet. The entire laminate is installed in an anodized aluminum frame for structural strength

Types of Solar Panels

• Monocrystalline solar panels are made from a single large silicon crystal. Monocrystalline panels are the most efficient yielding a higher charge output, and are claimed to produce more power in lower light conditions.

• Polycrystalline solar panels are cast from blocks of silicon and contain several small solar crystals. Polycrystalline panels produce about 1% less power than Moncrystalline panels. The 1% power loss is negligible and really should not be a major consideration in selecting a solar panel. Polycrystalline panels are the most common type of solar panel.

• Amorphous solar panels are known as thin film panels. Silicon is spread on a large bed to create the panel. Amorphous solar panels are inexpensive to manufacture and yield the lowest power output of the three types of panels. Inexpensive Amorphous panels function just fine, but they require 3 times the roof space of Polycrystalline or Monocrystalline panels for the same power yield.
