When is it Time to Call?

  One of the most common questions we are asked is, 'when are we supposed to call you?'.  We recommend that you call Chapman Propane when you are between 15-20% remaining.  This allows time to service the tank before all pressure is lost.   When a tank is allowed to get too low, you risk having to do a mandatory pressure test on your system.  Most companies charge for this service as it takes extra time to perform, and its usually anywhere from $25-$100 extra.  Save yourself some money and call ahead.

Service  Chapman Propane offers prompt, affordable residential delivery options for everyone.  When you call Chapman for a price quote, we give you exactly what youll pay, no hidden fees.  Some companies may give you a good price on your first delivery, but beware, subsequent deliveries may carry a higher cost and/or hidden delivery fees.  We believe in honest, straight forward pricing from the start.

  If you are looking for a tank for your home and/or business, Chapman Propane has what you need.   We stock several different sizes of tanks from 5gallon to 1000gallon, above ground or underground.  Our knowledgable team has been installing propane tanks and piping systems for over 20 years.  Trust Chapman to give the best, most accurate information, to make sure your appliances operate correctly.

Metered Propane Service

At Chapman Propane we understand it can be frustrating paying for a full delivery of propane.  We also understand that at times, its not convenient to check your tank, especially in colder temperatures.  Worry no longer!

PAY AS YOU USE IT!

Introducing metered gas by Chapman Propane.  With the use of a meter, Chapman Propane will keep track of your usage and send you a monthly bill similar to a natural gas company.  A meter reader comes out once a month to monitor both the meter reading and the tank level.  The gas in the tank belongs to us, so there is no need to buy bulk propane, only what you use.  The price paid per gallon is determined based on the average price for the given month.

Propane Meter

The meter shown above is all thats required to convert your system over to metered gas.  With an easy four digit display, its easy to calculate your usage.  Each movement of the meter is equal to 2.75 gallons.  No complicated dials or displays!  Installation is quick and free.  If you have a swimming pool heater, Chapman propane can install a second meter for no additional charge.  **There is no additional $10/month charge for the second meter.**  The only requirement to have a meter installed is central heating and a minimum of two other gas appliances.  Other appliances may be: hot water heater, gas range/oven, gas dryer, gas fireplace, or even a swimming pool heater.  Give us a call for more details and to see if your system qualifies.
