Founded in 1978 by Gordon Lemons and John Shepherd, Bear Electric is a full-service regional contractor serving the diverse electrical needs of a wide range of customers, including residential, commercial and industrial.  We are a highly experienced team of estimators, project managers, field supervisors and skilled electricians, backed by dedicated ownership and an enthusiastic office staff. Bear Electric is committed to delivering your highest expectations without exception. From day one, we have been dedicated to superior customer service. Our motto, “Excellence in Service & Performance,” remains our number one goal.  It was always important to Gordon Lemons that exceptional service be the cornerstone of his company and the philosophy of his employees. Bear Electric takes great pride in continuing to strive to build upon the groundwork of the excellent service and leadership that Gordon established more than 30 years ago. We deliver a brand of service that goes above and beyond what is required.  After Gordon’s untimely death in 2001, his wife Sheila was committed to leading the company and its many dedicated employees into a successful future. Her concern for the employees and their families, and the concern that Gordon always had for them was her driving force in stepping into the leadership of Bear Electric. Fortunately, Gordon had cultivated a strong, trustworthy group of employees and together they were able to move forward, under Sheila’s direction, continuing to build on the already strong foundation.  Today, Bear Electric is a thriving company. You’ll find it nestled in the small, centrally located town of Donald, Oregon in the 1939 Schoolhouse building. Bear Electric has more than 70 employees, many of whom have been with the company more than 20 years.  Our mission is to provide excellent service at all times. We take pride in good old-fashioned values of excellent customer service and long-term relationships.
