Newpoint Gas, LLC specializes in the design of modular gas treating and gas processing facilities. Newpoint’s experience insures the most cost effective gas pretreatment solutions are available to customers in every market. The company designs and manufactures a full range of both standard and custom-engineered modular units.  Newpoint plants are pre-engineered in modular standard sizes to provide substantially reduced delivery and commissioning times. With a support team on hand twenty-four hours a day, one can be confident that a Newpoint system is the best solution.

Newpoint Gas, LLC, an Oklahoma Limited Liability Company was formed in 2017 by Wiley Rhodes and Zane Rhodes.  Wiley and Zane acquired the rights to all of the old Newpoint Gas (operations ended 2010) project information and website.  The website is being updated with current information of the projects that Wiley and Zane have done over the years in addition to the work they did for the original Newpoint Gas. 

History

 The original Newpoint Gas was founded in 1999 by Wiley Rhodes with a vision of providing the natural gas industry with the finest, most efficient gas processing facilities.  Newpoint Gas designs and manufactures a full range of modular gas processing and treating units.  Our unique design provides:

• The lowest combined installation and construction costs due to our modular designs with the interconnecting piping fabricated in the shop not the field
• Ease of operations with Newpoint’s patent pending start-up and process recovery systems

Newpoint provides unmatched lead and delivery times by pre-engineering gas treating facilities with capacities of 1 million standard cubic feet to over 750.  We pride ourselves on our workmanship where ‘QUALITY IS NEVER AN ACCIDENT’ and are continually developing a global network of quality assured fabricators.  The company quickly grew to include Wiley’s Dad, Quenten Rhodes, who started working in a gas processing facility for Cities Service’s in 1966 as well as Wiley’s brothers, Wade, Joe, Zane, and Jerry who made critical contributions to Newpoint’s success.  Also in 2008, The Newpoint Companies expanded to include Newpoint Thermal and Newpoint Manufacturing.  Newpoint expanded into the Process Heating industry by hiring the Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service personnel formerly of GTS Energy under the name Newpoint Thermal, LP.  Newpoint Thermal supplies a variety of Process Heating Systems for industrial applications including Gas or Oil Fired Process Heaters, Convection Process Heaters, Process Bath Heaters, Thermal Fluid Heating Systems, High Pressure Steam Generators, and Waste Heat Recovery Systems.

Gas Treating Services

• Amine treating plants remove CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2S (hydrogen sulfide) from natural gas. Newpoint’s proprietary amine plant design is based on proven amine regeneration technology and incorporates several patent-pending processes to improve the reliability and ease of operation.
• Gas treating membrane systems provide a safe and efficient option for carbon dioxide and water vapor removal from natural gas, especially in remote locations.
• Newpoint Gas has extensive experience in amine treating systems and all types of H2S scavengers including: liquids, solids, and catalyst. Our team of process engineers will help determine which method is most effective and economical for the application.
• Gas treating membrane systems provide a safe and efficient option for carbon dioxide and water vapor removal from natural gas, especially in remote locations. Membrane systems are extremely adaptable to various gas volumes, CO2 concentrations, and/or product-gas specifications.
• Newpoint Gas developed X-O2™, our proprietary oxygen elimination process that has proven to be the most economical and reliable process available to remove this contaminate.
• Arsi-Guard™ is Newpoint’s proprietary catalyst based system for the removal of arsenic from natural gas. Arsi-Guard™ can reduce organic arsenic concentrations to below 1 ppb to eliminate environmental liability and improve primary catalyst performance in ammonia and LNG facilities.
• Newpoint designs and manufactures helium purification systems that produce 99.999% pure helium from natural gas.
