Our primary mission is to provide fuel to U.S. Government Agencies through 'sole source' provider contracts.    Our team consists of both veterans and civilians who have extensive experience in fields ranging from engineering to energy to hospitality. With years of experience between the members of our team, we are confident that we can provide forthright and good service.    With the U.S. Government as our primary client, we can accept, broker, and arrange transportation for any sort of fuel from any where in the world.    Sentry Oil and Gas, LLC has long term relationships with financial partners, refineries, and fuel traders enabling us to secure fuel and funds to perform to the contract specifications. These relationships allow us to be one of the only Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Minority Owned Small Business (MOSB) fuel providers who can meet the strict financial and high volume fuel production requirements.

Some contracts listed on the Federal Business Opportunity website have what are called 'set asides' for “sole source” SDVOSB, VOSB, and MOSB. Sentry Oil and Gas, LLC qualifies as a “sole source” and SAM System Provider due to our unique qualifications. Many SDVOSB, VOSB, and MOSB lack the financial wherewithal to securitize the volume of funds needed to take possession of the title to the fuel. We however do.

What are 'Sole Source' and 'No-Bid Contracts'?

The term 'no-bid contract' is a popular phrase for what is officially known as a 'sole source contract'.  In a sole source contract there is only one person or company who will provide the contractual services needed (see 48 CFR § 2.101).    A 'no-bid contract' or 'Sole Source Provider' contract is usually solicted by a government agency such as the the Department of Commerce, Defense Logistics Agency, Department of Defense, Defense Contract Management Command, among others.    After Soliciting and negotiating with only one firm (see 48 CFR 2.101), the contract is awarded. These contracts are negotiated much more quickly than typical competitive contracts as there is no due-process.
