Don Graves Professional Profile

Don had a 33 year career with ConocoPhillips, which included several positions in Finance and Purchasing with the last 20 plus years spent as a Human Resources leader in various locations in the U.S. and overseas.  His HR experience covered the entire breadth of generalist responsibilities in support of domestic and international Upstream operating groups, Downstream operating groups, and corporate service functions.  After his career with ConnocoPhillips, he spent several years consulting within the oil and gas industry providing leadership and assistance with HR strategic issues, HR project management, and coaching senior leaders to improve their effectiveness.  Don joined the Oil & Gas Technology Group in May of 2011 as the CEO.  During Don’s career, he was regularly involved in the recruiting and selection of staff as well as the creation and evaluation of positions in the ConocoPhillips organization.  Don states, “The challenge and reward of getting an employee / job seeker matched up with a position that is critical to the success of the business has led me to the latest phase of my career….the recruitment and placement in an ndustry I know very well”.  Don is from central Kansas and was educated at Northwestern Oklahoma State University prior to beginning his career with ConocoPhillips.   .
