Our Company’s mission is to become the alternative energy integrator of choice for solar, fuel cell, lighting services, wind, and tide and wave generating capacity for a significant market share of the energy market.  We utilize off the shelf and improved technology provided in simple repeatable modules using the highest levels of efficiency for a rapid return on investment to the customer. Our lighting services division offers no cost feasibility studies, detailed energy surveys, electrical engineering, full installation, rebate processing, EPAct and LEED certifications. Eco Friendly continues to offer a variety of other energy solutions in appropriate circumstances for each customer’s situation and investment level.  Eco Friendly also helps to promote alternative energy by offering or facilitating environmental educational opportunities to the public and to members and employees of the alternative energy community

Fuel Cells

Fuel cells create electricity, usable heat, and water by combining hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen does not need to be available because commercial offerings run on natural gas, coal gas, propane and bio fuels, including methane.  The cells internally extract the necessary hydrogen.  They produce Direct Current (DC) electricity without the conventional combustion reaction, which is then converted into Alternating Current (AC) for use.  Current fuel cells are generally stationary and used for large fixed locations like resorts, prisons, wastewater facilities, and manufacturing plants, although there are units currently available for smaller uses.  Smartly designed fuel cells maximize energy efficiency by creating electricity as well as usable heat from one clean source. Specifically developed to take advantage of the current fuel infrastructure, these fuel cells plumb to readily available natural gas and offer available power 24/7, day or night. Easily configurable, these units integrate seamlessly into existing or newly designed electrical and mechanical systems providing locally generated energy where and when it is needed. Unlike conventional grid-power sources that burn coal or gas and create an increased environmental burden, clean energy fuel cells create power with efficiency while offering a reduction in energy bills and a reduction in carbon emissions.

Solar

Solar energy is energy from the sun in the form of radiated heat and light. Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity by photovoltaics, solar thermal concentrators, or other technologies. Recent years have seen rapid growth in the number of installations of PV onto building roofs, external building facings, and associated parking areas, and for manufacturing, agriculture, and even entire electric power generation plants.  Our Company provides every aspect of this service.  We perform energy audits and efficiency analysis, energy retrofits, green building design and construction or solar remodel; reclaim a landfill or hazardous waste site with a solar generation facility; create an attractive ground based structure, and provide ongoing maintenance and monitoring to ensure your system continues to perform at its peak level. Wind, Tide & Wave

Wind TurbineWind turbines capture the wind’s energy. Propeller-like blades or similar purpose structures mounted on a rotor turn the turbine creating Direct Current (DC) which is converted into Alternating Current (AC) for use.  The large turbines are usually mounted on towers about one hundred feet in the air where the wind is more consistent. The turbines can be stand alone or be grouped into farms for direct connection to the electric grid.  As part of green building practice, the small turbines are now being integrated and sometimes paired with solar systems to serve regular commercial buildings, agriculture, residential and mobile use.
