Walsh BioFuels LLC

Walsh BioFuels is a 5 millon gallon/year plant. Our biodiesel is a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from non-food grade corn oil, a domestic, renewable resource. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. Biodiesel blends can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with no modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics.

We are a BQ-9000 CERTIFIED biodiesel producer and blender located in Mauston, WI. Established in June 2006, production began in June 2007. Owned and Operated by the Walsh family, we are proud to be using non-food grade corn oil from the surrounding areas, benefiting both us and our communities. Our biodiesel is presently marketed locally and in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota. We are members of the National Biodiesel Board  and the Juneau County Economic Development Corporation. The Walsh family is also involved with the local FFA.

BIODIESEL IS RENEWABLE! 

Unlike fossil fuels, this petroleum alternative comes from plants and other organic matter that can be grown each year. Fossil fuels will eventually run out, other choices for fuel need to be available. The United States already produces a huge surplus of agricultural goods, this fuel is a perfect substitute for petroleum based diesel. With biodiesel being easily produced in the U.S., we do not need to rely on other countries for our fuel.

PRODUCTS

• B99.9/B100, undyed and dyed, our facility can fill as little as 250 gal. totes up to 7500 gal. tanker.  Contracts are available.
• Our glycerin has a low methanol content. It is sold for animal feed and other uses.
