ICM Biofuels

ICM Biofuels™, unlike other ICM ethanol plants, is integrated with ICM’s development efforts to be an initial adopter of new products and technologies before they are introduced to the market place.  The 50-MGY ethanol production facility, located in St. Joseph, MO., was originally built in 2006 by ICM and started production in October 2007 to take advantage of the available starch stream from Lifeline Foods as a joint venture with ICM.     In 2014, ICM Biofuels, LLC began managing the ethanol production portion of the Lifeline Foods facility. ICM Biofuels™ now employs 44 full-time employees in the ethanol plant. ICM Biofuels™ places its energy into producing ethanol, both wet and dry distillers grains and high-quality corn oil.  It is located next to the ICM Research and Development facility, and having both of these facilities ​side-by-side allows for synergies and opportunities that are both strategic and opportunistic.
