Diesel

 Vanguardia Energy provides diesel fuels that are blended to provide good ignition quality and are held to high quality standards for our customers.  Their low-temperature fluidity characteristics can also help keep your engines moving in colder temperatures. Our Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuels are made to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. Crude oil

Vanguardia offers a variety of crude oil grades with high API gravity (low specific gravity), produced in the Bakken Area and in South America. The very low sulfur content of this Light crude makes it highly desirable. The crude oil is one of the best oils n the world because it is easy to refine as a result of its low sulfur content. Due to this factor, a lot of buyers from around the US, Caribbean and Latin America are always interested in this type of crude. At Vanguardia, we have direct relations with suppliers to make sure that our customers desired crude oil is available and delivered on time.     Most all of our shipments are on a CIF basis unless the client desires FOB. The Light Crude Oil has a low density and flows freely at room temperature. It has a low viscosity, low specific gravity and high API gravity due to the presence of a high proportion of light hydrocarbon fractions. It generally has low wax content. The Light crude oil receives a higher price than heavy crude oil on commodity markets because it produces a higher percentage of gasoline and diesel fuel when converted into products by an oil refinery. The United States is becoming one of the world's leading oil producer and exporter, and its location adds an element of comfort for our major customers. Heavy Fuel oil

Vanguardia's Heavy fuel oil range is versatile. Vanguardia supplies both low and normal sulphur grades of oil. The sulphur content of the low sulphur grades is less than 1.0 %wt. and normal is 3% or lower.Vanguardia's Heavy fuel oil comes mainly from refineries in the United States and Latin America, which refine low sulphur and high quality crude oils. Long-term supply contracts and Vanguardia's own quality control ensure our product consistency .Vanguardia has agreements with blending facilities and refineries to provide our clients with their requirements of Heavy Fuel Oil produced within the United States. Biodiesel

Biodiesel is a form of diesel fuel manufactured from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant greases. It is safe, biodegradable, and produces less air pollutants than petroleum-based diesel. Biodiesel can be used in its pure form (B100) or blended with petroleum diesel. Common blends include B2 (2% biodiesel), B5, and B20. B2 and B5. These can be used safely in most diesel engines. However, most vehicle manufacturers do not recommend using blends greater than B5, and engine damage caused by higher blends is not covered by some manufacturer warranties.
