Maryland State Solar is working with local installers, non-profits, community advocates, state and federal agencies to help individual home and business owners make the right move to solar. We are a grass roots organization dedicated to environmental and financial sustainability helping the state of Maryland surpass it’s goal of 20% renewable energy production by 2020.

The last decade has seen major advances in production and manufacturing significantly reducing equipment costs and leveling the energy rate playing field. Solar and other renewable forms of electric generation are no longer a luxury, high-price option. Grid Parity has arisen in almost a quarter of the States so far.  The energy choices we make today impact the sustainability of our lives for tomorrow. It;s not hard, it’s just a bit confusing to navigate the red tape, which is what here to do for you!
