ZeroBase Energy was established in 2009 with the vision of offering advanced hybrid power generation systems, specifically focusing on diesel generator efficiency improvements. Our goal is to provide highly reliable off-grid, microgrid, and grid tied hybrid power generation systems that deliver clean and reliable power to some of the most rugged locations and demanding customers on the planet. The idea for ZeroBase Energy began at the Lyman Morse Boatbuilding Company in Maine, and quickly evolved into a leading innovator of hybrid power generation systems. More than a thousand ZeroBase Energy systems are in use around the world in some of the most austere and remote environments.

Our team is dedicated to solving the difficult challenges of bringing reliable and efficient energy to those beyond the grid. Our solutions reduce customers’ cost and risk of relying on fossil fuels and unstable grids. We see power as a platform for stabilizing communities, and reliable energy access as a key to public safety, education, health care, and industry growth. Our customers include defense, security, and government organizations, rural electrification authorities, commercial companies, and sustainable resorts.
